Do I need to tell you how excited I am about this? It is such an awesome event and everyone has so much fun stamping and making friends. It gives me a wonderful feeling seeing my customers and friends leave with many cards ready to be sent to their friends and family. I want to give you a little teaser.
What little girl would not want this cute card for her birthday? It has glitter, a crown, and rhinestones!! It would also make a great baby girl shower card. You can take the Pretty in Pink marker and just color in the word PRINCESS and leave of the "happy birthday" and it would be a darling card. This is one of the many cards from which you can choose to make on Saturday, March 27th, from 9-2 PM. The location is Covenant Life Assembly; 207 S. Howard; Moore, OK. It is next door to the Moore Public Library (east of it). I will have supplies for you and glue sticks for adhesive. If you don't want to have to wait or share supplies you may bring your own. Many of the stampers will bring their own supplies so they can get more cards made. I have had some stampers tell me they don't have much time so I would like to make a suggestion. Gather up the supplies you will need for the cards that you want to make. Take a picture of the finished product and then you can go home and assemble the cards at your leisure time while you are in your jammies. This is a win/win deal. Can't wait to see you! Have a terrific Saturday!!!

I am taking a small break from sharing the birthday cards. I wanted to show you the Valentine card that I made my granddaughter and our Youth Pastor's son. It is an Elmo card!!
Isn't this adorable? It is made with many punches.
paper: Whisper White CS; Basic Black CS; Only Orange CS
accessories: scallop circle punch; 3/4" circle punch; 1/4" circle punch; 1" circle punch.
Needless to say they both loved the card. It is a very quick card so get your supplies and make one for a friend's child. Have a terrific day!

Well, as you can tell, my New Year's resolution came to a screeching halt! During some transitioning of computers and programs I lost my watermark for my pictures and the program that I used became lost also. Well, I am now back on track and everything seems to be in place so I am going to start sharing many ideas that I have wanted to share with you.
In February, I held a birthday stamp-a-stack class. This is where the participants come and make 2 of each of the five designs. They leave with 10 cards ready to be used! Listed below is the first birthday card idea. The idea was inspired by Becky Roberts.
Stamp: Sincere Salutations; Happy Moments (this set can be earned for FREE for a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration. Sale-a-bration will end March 31, 2010.)
Paper: Melon Mambo CS; Rich Razzleberry CS; Razzleberry Lemonade DSP; Whisper White CS
Ink: Rich Razzleberry classic ink
Accessories: scallop trim border (earned for FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration.)
Have a terrific day. Stay tuned for another birthday idea!

WOW! Leadership came to a close this evening at around 5 PM. I have had a blast seeing friends, making new friends, and learning so much!! I have also swapped and am bringing back many wonderful ideas for classes and workshops.
Stampin' UP! has spoiled us these past two days. We have had door prizes, which I was lucky to win the first one, shopping to purchase some awesome merchandise from the memento hall, and unannounced gifts.
This is the door prize that I won. It is product from the occasions mini catalog!
This bag is one of the items I purchased. It is an exclusive bag with limited quantity. If you host your own private class/ workshop and it totals $400 or more you will receive this bag for free and a "thank you" for allowing me to meet your friends. You may have the private class/workshop in your home or at my church. Call me today to book your workshop. Remember, Sale-A-Bration is going strong! You and your friends can earn free merchandise for every $50 you spend (before s/h and tax).
While at Leadership, Stampin' Up! honored all managers and above with a reception. This reception was held at Corona Ranch and gave us an insight of the hispanic culture. We were greeted by a mariachi band. We strolled over the grounds and were able to sample some fantastic hispanic food like quesadias and churros, just to name a few.
I want to leave you with a Valentine card idea. This could be also be used to send to a very good friend.
Have a super, terrific day. Love ya!

I apologize for not inserting the picture into the post about us traveling to Phoenix. I was trying to send a blog on my Iphone and pushed the wrong button!
Just to recap my previous blog post.....Randy is driving us to Phoenix, AZ so I can attend Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference. I really hate that I am going to be in sunny weather with temperatures in the 70s but someone has to tolerate it so I will do my best to enjoy it while my friends in Oklahoma suffer with frigid, "deep freeze" temperatures.
I previously posted that my husband was so wonderful and thoughtful because he rented a u-haul trailer so I could carry all of my stamping equipment and have a portable stamping studio. He is a wonderful and thoughtful man; however, this u-haul was for his precious Harley! He is going to ride in the mountains while I am attending classes. Ladies, when you travel with your husband does hestop frequently for you to go to the bathroom? Well, my dear husband does not. He isn't cruel or anything<gg> but he likes to get in the vehicle and drive without stopping, if at all possible. I will keep quiet until my eyes turn green, THEN I will let him know we need to stop. Well, on this little trip, I did not have to ask for him to stop. He stopped approximately every two hours to check on his little baby that was in the u-haul. I was cracking up on how he was so careful with that item and how he had to check to see if the tie downs were holding the cycle in place. The windshield travelled behind our seat so we could watch it and make sure it didn't get cracked. Believe me, I was enjoying getting the opportunity to stretch my legs and go to the bathroom, if needed, every two hours!!! I will have to suggest that he take that black beauty with us everywhere we go<lol>.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be checking in, receiving all of my goodies that SU! puts in our Leadership bag, and getting to shop in the Momento Hall. This is where SU! provides MANY items for sale that have never before been seen. There is usually a clothing item or two and many giftable items that we can purchase. It is so much fun to get to go shopping. We will stand in line swapping card fronts or 3D items and that is where I will receive many ideas that I can share with you. At noon I will attend my first class then from 1-4 PM I will have a session of make and takes using brand new product in the Sale-A-Bration mini catalog and the new occasions mini catalog. After that I will spend quite awhile taking pictures of any display boards they may have. Thursday and Friday I will attend classes all day (from 8-5) with a lunch break. SU! provides our lunch and it is always a wonderful, first class meal. Then Thursday night I will attend the Manager's Reception. It is still secretive as to where we are going. All I know we will all board busses and they will take us to an awesome place where we are going to dine and be entertained by the natives of Phoenix. I will also receive another FREE stamp set that will be in the occasions mini catalog. Can you tell I LOVE free stamps? I will tell you more about this after I have attended the event. Believe me....it will be a first class event. Randy has always been amazed at how SU! treats us. So stay tuned for that event. Have a wonderful day. Remember....I love ya!!!
If you will indulge me I would love to
