Sippy Cup

  

I know this is an unusual gift but let me explain.  Our granddaughter, Miss Emma, attends daycare at our church and they are going to have an Easter egg hunt.  I am not for sure how much of a hunt they are going to have since they range from 5 months - one year.  Emma is 7 months old and is now crawling so she can get around if necessary.  I digress.......Each child can bring an "Easter egg" to exchange with their classmates.  Since my husband, Randy, is the senior minister at the church, most of the children know him as "Pastor" and he goes around everyday and talks to students in their class or while they are eating.  He wanted to give a gift to each of Emma's classmates  so this is what I purchased and then made the little tag to attach to each cup.  I LOVE this little chicken!!  I am going to have a close up of the tag at the end of this long blog so you can see it a little closer.  I paper pieced the chick and the egg using the beautiful designer series paper called Tea Party.  Love this!  Love this!  Love this!  You must get a package of this.  It just screams SPRING!!!

 

I was laughing as I made these because the polka dots on the chick makes it look like it has "chicken pox!"  Anyways, I hope their parents like the tags.  This idea would make a cute card for a present.  Have a blessed Easter weekend.  Love ya!

An Easter Box

 

This is a box we made at our Easter class.  This box is very versatile.  It can hold many large candy bars, lots of little candies, socks, or even 12 3x3 cards with envelopes.

cardstock:  pretty in pink, whisper white, almost amethyst

Easter Card

 

This is an Easter card we made to match the Easter basket.   This uses the big shot and the curly label punch kit.  Even though it may look difficult it is quite easy to make.

cardstock: so saffron; whisper white

I apologize for the "pinkish" tint to this card.  It really is white.  This was one of the cards we made at our Easter class this past Friday  night.  One of my downline created this card so if it looks similar to one of yours please let me know so I can give you credit.
